A graduate of Purdue University, she is an experienced computer programmer and analyst. Her financial background and business experience strengthens Poole Fire Protection’s ability to stay within budget and on track to complete projects within their quoted timeline.

Stephanie’s projects have included financial institutions, residential facilities, and hotel facilities. She specializes is fire modeling and performance-based design.

Jack earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1986. As a Registered Fire Protection Engineer in 49 states, U.S. Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and Guam he is an expert in this field with nearly 35 years of experience. As Principal of Poole Fire Protection, his expertise includes fire suppression and detection system design, fire hazards analysis, fire risk assessments, construction management, and fire protection water distribution system evaluations. He also provides legal testimony for fire investigations, code analysis, life safety, fire protection system design testing and maintenance.

As a fire protection engineer, Mr. Aslin creates Design-Build fire sprinkler drawings and specifications for a variety of large and small commercial / industrial projects. He develops full designs of fire sprinkler systems as well as fire alarm systems using both AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK.

As a student, Mr. Aslin was a Teaching Assistant at Oklahoma State University for the Fire Suppression and Detection Systems, Life Safety Analysis, and Human Factors in Accident Prevention classes, and completed internships in fire alarm and fire sprinkler design.

As a Fire Protection Engineer, Brad has worked on a variety of projects for both public and private sector clients. His responsibilities include providing fire protection engineering design services, life safety and building code analyses, facility assessments, inspection and testing of fire protection systems, and code consulting services.

Serving in the roles of project engineer, project manager, and fire protection engineer of record, Brad’s project tasks include inspection of new and existing facilities for compliance with minimum design standards, as well as the design, construction management and acceptance testing of fire alarm and fire suppression systems. He also has particular experience with fire protection water distribution systems, and is an experienced project manager.

Brad’s projects have included a variety of facility types, including sewage lift stations, aviation, healthcare, commercial, residential, underground and educational facilities as well as DOD, DOI, DOE, VA, and GSA installations.  He has also developed a multitude of environmental, health and safety assessments for industrial facilities.

Additionally, Brad serves as a volunteer firefighter/emergency medical technician, has been an OSHA certified Hazmat Technician, and is a Certified Safety Professional.

Kevin has served as the Qualified Fire Protection Engineer on a variety of federal projects and has provided fire protection design services, facility assessments and code consulting. His project tasks include performing hydrant testing, inspecting existing fire protection structures for compliance with life safety and NFPA codes, assisting in the design of new fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems, and writing assessment reports that document fire protection and life safety deficiencies.

Kevin’s past work experience and responsibilities include fire protection systems testing and evaluations, facility process special hazards, business interruptions analysis, and loss expectancy estimations. He has reviewed and approved sprinkler plans, construction plans, and special extinguishing systems. He conducted inspections of large manufacturing facilities, hospitals and office buildings, testing sprinkler systems, fire alarms and water supply equipment. Kevin has also generated complete engineering reports evaluating sprinkler systems, special hazards and overall condition of risks.

Kevin provided engineering services for the design of sprinkler systems, suppression systems and fire alarm systems for central generating stations, nuclear services, cogeneration, and plant modifications. His experience has also included the design and evaluation of fire suppression and detection systems for aircraft hangars, including AFFF systems, high expansion foam systems, UV/IR detection systems, and complete fire alarm systems to support the operation and control of the suppression systems.

As a fire protection engineer, Mr. Brondum creates Design-Build fire sprinkler drawings and specifications for a variety of large and small commercial / industrial projects. He develops full designs of fire sprinkler systems as well as fire alarm systems using both AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK.

As a student, Mr. Brondum was both a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland for multiple classes in the Fire Protection Engineering program and a Graduate Assistant researching both the activation causes and alternatives to aircraft hangar foam systems. His undergraduate thesis examined fire department operations in standpipe equipped buildings while his graduate thesis explored firefighter radio communication practices.  Additionally, he also interned for the National Fire Sprinkler Association, including publishing technical articles and revising a textbook chapter, and for UL Fire Safety Research Institute where he conducted both bench scale and large, live-fire tests and analyzed data. He has also served in the St. Rose, LA, and White Hall, KY communities as a volunteer fire fighter.

As a fire protection engineer, Mr. Holdmeyer has experience creating Design-Build fire sprinkler drawings and specifications for a variety of large and small commercial / industrial projects. He has created full designs of fire sprinkler systems as well as plumbing systems using both AutoCAD and REVIT.

Mr. Holdmeyer has collaborated with architects, electrical, plumbing and mechanical engineering teams to create fully coordinated design drawings for a variety of fire protection, plumbing and HVAC projects. His experience also includes overseeing early fire protection design development for architects for project permitting and bidding.

Mr. Keena is highly knowledgeable about fire suppression systems, fire suppression operations, technical rescue, hazardous materials incidents, building construction plans, and fire/explosion investigations. He also has extensive knowledge in the residential construction industry due to his experience as a licensed contractor for 15+ years.  

As a firefighter for 25+ years, Mr. Keena has seen a wide range of fire, arson, and explosion scenarios. As a fire investigator, he has conducted origin and cause investigations on fatal structure fires, residential fires, commercial fires, and vehicle fires.

Mr. Keena holds an A.A. in Fire Administration, a B.S. in Organizational Leadership, an M.S. in Management, and a B.S. in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. He is a Certified Fire Investigator through the IAAI, as well as in Missouri. He is also a licensed Private Fire Investigator in Illinois and Missouri. Mr. Keena also holds a Private Detective License in Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

Serving in the role of technical lead, Brett’s project tasks include consultation of code to create a compliant basis of design, code narrative, and code footprint that will guide the project design. He also has experience conducting flow tests, system acceptance testing for fire suppression systems, fire alarm/mass notification and fire sprinkler system installation reviews for installation intergrity and developing engineering judgements.

Brett’s projects have included a variety of facility types, including aviation, healthcare, and business facilities as well as DoD installations.
